Recipe for Indigo Duck
The main ingredient is the big vocal style of Jeff Harrison, the Duck's enigmatic frontman who, some say is a little bit
Joe Cocker, perhaps a bit Tom Waits or Louis Armstrong or maybe not depending on your taste. Use liberally throughout, but first discard the shoes!
The dish itself is an eclectic mix of Ragtime, Jug Band and Early American blues, so add some Honky Tonk piano,
a touch of wailing Harmonica, a dash of Electric & Slide Guitar then mix in one funky rhythm section.
Bake for one hour and you've got an "Indigo Duck" cooked to perfection.
"Indigo Duck" the band that's been entertaining audiences for over 15 years at festivals, concerts, private shows
and bar rooms across Australia. With three CD's available, they continue to perform and entertain.
