BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!
The Duck was born, feathers & all one fine day in 1996 with beginning rehearsals in Rick Steele’s ‘dungeon’. Once encouraged to leave the nest it took its first tentative steps & waddled around the South West with many tours from Margaret River to Denmark, Albany & such places. Now fully grown, with 5 CD’s to its name the Duck in 2017 decided a well rest was needed. In 2019 a 120 page glossy book was published detailing many of the flights the Duck has taken since those humble beginnings. So in 2021, 25 years after being hatched, Indigo Duck comes out of its self imposed ‘lockdown’ & once more will be taking the stage at the Perth Blues Club this March the 9th 2021.

Cooking hints #1
Recipe for Indigo Duck
The main ingredient is the big vocal style of Jeff Harrison, the Duck's enigmatic frontman who, some say is a little bit
Joe Cocker, perhaps a bit Tom Waits or Louis Armstrong or maybe not depending on your taste. Use liberally throughout, but first discard the shoes!
The dish itself is an eclectic mix of Ragtime, Jug Band and Early American blues, so add some Honky Tonk piano,
a touch of wailing Harmonica, a dash of Electric & Slide Guitar then mix in one funky rhythm section.
Bake for one hour and you've got an "Indigo Duck" cooked to perfection.
